Hello,

I am installing a rapidpro server on ubuntu. When I type the command 'pip install freeze.txt' I get this error message: ( ERROR: Could not open requirements file: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'pip-freeze.txt')

Can someone help me please.

If you're trying to the run the latest code - we've switched to poetry so you'd run poetry install

But we recommend running the stable versions listed in the README at https://github.com/rapidpro/rapidpro

Hi Sokhna,

the freeze.txt file was not found, download the stable version of rapidpro here https://github.com/rapidpro/rapidpro/releases/tag/v6.2.4

Mamadou: So instead of cloning with : git clone https://github.com/rapidpro/rapidpro.git. I will try to download directly the 6.2.4 version.

Rowan: I tried with poetry install, it said command not found

Thanks for your help

Yes Sokhna

As Iain Lawrence says
it indicates that the command was not found because you don't have it installed
install it with
or else try to directly download version 6.2.4 and you can use pip install -r pip-freeze.txt

Thank you all for your help. I used version v6.2.4 as suggested.
But I have a new error, when I run the runserver I get this page displayed, if someone has an idea.

Hi

I'm not sure of the exact solution to your problem, but if you're trying to run a local development server, then there are setup instructions for that: https://rapidpro.github.io/rapidpro/docs/development/

Following those instructions on 6.2.4, I get a working local rapidpro server.

Regards,
Rudi.
