the upstream plans for Rapicorn can be found here:

Also github will tell that Rapicorn is and has been actively developed for the last couple years:

Beast (
http://beast.testbit.eu/
) has a hard dependency on it and work is ongoing to build the language bindings in Beast with Rapicorn and in the future parts of the UI.
