Hi Alessio,

the upstream plans for Rapicorn can be found here:
https://testbit.eu/wiki/Rapicorn_Task_List#Roadmap

Also github will tell that Rapicorn is and has been actively developed for the last couple years:
https://github.com/tim-janik/rapicorn/

Beast (http://beast.testbit.eu/) has a hard dependency on it and work is ongoing to build the language bindings in Beast with Rapicorn and in the future parts of the UI.

Please also see this recent thread "Rapicorn packaging recommendations":
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/rapicorn/8ObQ6wRwudY

For the future, I'm happy to answer any questions about future plans for Rapicorn or Beast. Feel free to contact me anytime.
