graffle demo line only on top or bottom

Hi,

i am playing around with the graffle Demo. I would like to draw our
company network with switches and pathpanel.
Can anybody help me, by editing the connection function in the demo to
connect the shapes only on center top or on center bottom?

It looks like very well, by connect on the left or on the right site
by the shape.

Hi,

You can do something easier to achieve that without changing the connection function.

Just attach a dot on the top and bottom of each shape and draw the connection between those dots instead of the shape itself.

The result will be exactly what you need (if I understood well).
