None of the search fields are working on my Netflix app. When i try to enter any characters in the search field i'll get a buffering wheel for less than half of a second and no movies will appear on the right side of the screen. I'm currently signed into Netflix, Apple tv's been up to date for sometime & i'm connected via wifi. Any suggestions?
I did speak with netflix about this issue. They did try and troubleshoot from their end but came to the conclusion that it was an issue on Apple's end. I called Apple Care and they directed me to go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. This did fix the issue and i am able to search again. Anyone doing this will need to be aware that you will need to sign back into all apps. If you're connected via wifi you'll also need to reconnect this as well so have your router password handy.

I was just wondering which Netflix country this searches? I tried to search for something that I know is listed in Canada, US, and the UK, and I tried switching my VPN to servers in those countries, but it doesn't show up in this workflow.
@Sebastian Daza - sorry, I am working on a new version of both the API server and client and managed to break it for users with older version of the workflow. That being said, the good news is that the new version is done! I will upload it today by end of day.
@katie - as of right now to change the country you will have to go into the workflow and modify the script filter as in the screenshot below. If there is more demand I can create an interface for setting it.
Thank you!! That was pretty easy, thanks to your clear instructions, and it's super helpful! I hated waiting to connect to different servers to check if something was available on Netflix. I've duplicated the workflow and changed keywords so I can check both countries
As katie, i'm not in the US and therefore need to change the country, in my case to DK (Denmark). The normal ISO country code for Denmark is DK, but that doesn't work. Do you know where I can find the country codes used by Netflix?
I recently got a neo Qled QN90B samsung tv... Hi guys. The Microsoft Edge is my favorite browser of all times, really, but not when I try to watch netflix or other video streaming services, it always breaks, I have no ideia what to do anymore. Always when I try to play something there's an error and then I need to reload over and over again, sometimes even when I just play the video it stop working when I try to play again. Help me to keep using this best browser that I've ever seen.
I've ever tried to disable hardware acceleration, enable DRM content, install Microsoft Silverlight and a lot of other things, but I didn't get to watch so far without an error I keep receiving these error codes: D7356-7701 and others related. Is there's still something that can be done to really fix theses erros or I just have to be patient and wait for news versions of the browser?

>> If you're using the Netflix website, clearing your browser's cache and cookies might help. These files can sometimes cause issues with website functionality. After clearing the cache and cookies, log back into Netflix and try using the search again. Here's how you can clear the cache in Chrome:
Please note that the steps provided here are based on general guidelines, and the exact steps might vary slightly depending on the version of the operating system and the specific device you are using. After clearing the app cache, launch the Netflix app again and see if the issue has been resolved.
Visit DownDetector's Netflix page or other similar websites like Isitdownrightnow, to check if there are any reported outages affecting Netflix's service in your region. If there's a widespread issue, it's likely not something you can fix on your end. You can report this issue and wait for its fix. It may need one or two days.
Tips: DownDetector is a website and service that tracks and reports real-time outages and issues with various online services, websites, and platforms. Users can visit DownDetector to check if a specific service is currently experiencing problems, and they can also report their own issues to contribute to the overall understanding of service disruptions.
If you're using the Netflix app on a smart TV, gaming console, or other device, make sure that your device's software is up to date. Sometimes, outdated software can cause compatibility issues with apps.
If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to Netflix's customer support. They might have specific troubleshooting steps for your situation or be able to assist you in resolving the issue.
Remember that specific steps might vary depending on the device you're using and the version of the Netflix app or website. If the issue continues, don't hesitate to reach out to Netflix support for personalized assistance.
Netflix has a set expiration time on all its content. Some movies or shows will leave the service when their license agreements expires. In such cases, you will not get any search results as previously when you try it again. To get around of the problem, you are advised to download your favorite content and save it on your devices.
FlixiCam is such a tool that can help you download and save Netflix movies locally. Once downloaded, the content will be saved as .mp4 or .mkv files, which makes it easy for you to save and watch them without a network connection. Plus, it allows you to download content in FHD quality and save multilingual audio tracks and subtitles for the best viewing experience. Just download the app for a try:
Step 4. If you are trying to download a TV show, now simply click the Download icon, followed that a window will pop up allowing you to select titles as well as seasons, and to choose audio track and subtitles by clicking "Advanced Download" in the bottom left corner. As for downloading movies, please click the "Advanced Download" icon beside "Download" to open the window.
All in all, resolving a Netflix search not working issue is not especially difficult. By following the steps outlined in this blog post, you should be able to fix your issues quickly. Even if none of the solutions outlined here work, don't fret: there's still Netflix support available to help you troubleshoot the problem.
Last week I ran an ACC report for the top 25 applications. Netflix was #3 (university environment, so it's to be expected). Today, I ran the same report and Netflix (as an application) is no where to be found. I launched Netflix on my computer to generate some traffic and I'm not seeing it (I waited 20 minutes to make sure the session was ended and logged). I've tried searching, but I don't see any modifications to the application. Any reason this isn't showing up any more?
I have noticed quite a few incidences where netflix has been identified as web-browsing. Please make sure you are on the latest content version (463 being latest today) and test again as I see some improvements being reported. You may open a support case to follow the updates from bug 68271.
I have had this Apple TV device for some time now and never have had the Netflix app working properly. I was wondering if this community could help me out with this because I am a bit out of ideas now.
What I have done is that I have a normal Netflix account which I am using in my home network with multiple devices and everything else is working fine but this AppleTV device with Netflix app. Netflix app is working fine until the video stream should be starting when it says only "An Error Occurred Loading This Content. Try again later!". The same thing with UTM and XG both.
I have tried the instructions of this thread but no help. Same subnet, same gateway, same DNS but no success. I have no any exotic setup in my firewall pretty much default everything. Some small adjustments but not anything that could block anything important. Everything works.
And please if you have any suggestions put them so that me as a casual user understand what you trying to say. No pro lingo like "put the MASQ on in new host in FQDN and override policy on DNAT user". I have no idea what you talking about :)
Hello Zerry,
you might also search the logs and IPS for suspicious entries in order to find the reason.
If you have the change you might mirror the traffic that goes to the apple TV and look whether you see what is happening.
Eventually some of the advanced firewall settings might help. I don't have netflix. Probably it uses UDP or QUIC and maybe some bulk transfer with with longer pauses. There is some timeout for the stateful UDP "connections". The default is 60. However this is pure guessing but it helped really good with Microsoft Teams.
