rapache through opencpu on Ubuntu 14.04 => ":error ... rApache Notice!"

Hi!

I am getting error.log messages like these (below) when requesting R calculations, actually one or two lines per R request through opencpu. It is the same whether making the request through a browser or through curl. The calculations and responses actually work but I am wondering what the errors refer to.

I have noticed that if I look into the system processes then pid's refer to so-called "defunct" processses. For example:

$ ps aux 

www-data  9357  4.0  0.0      0     0 ?        Z    16:00   0:00 [apache2] <defunct>
