Hi there! I recenly purchased a Fishman TriplePlay Connect MIDI controller and I'm trying to set it up with software such as Shreddage and AmpleSound. In each case, the software needs to be in MIDI guitar mode (no problem), and the MIDI input of the channel needs to be set to "omni" more or "all" mode. I'm having trouble figuring out how to make this setting in Logic Pro, as it doesn't seem to be available from the instrument track settings.
Thank you so much. So now we can confirm that Omni is selected and midi channel is set to All. In shreddage still not getting any sound when in midi guitar mode. I think it might be a MIDI mapping issue with shreddage, since even using a MIDI keyboard in regular mode I'm having trouble triggering the sounds.
MIDI Guitar Mode: When enabled, the patch is enabled for use with MIDI guitars or pickups that send MIDI messages on different channels for each string of the guitar. You MUST set the patch to OMNI MIDI input in Kontakt for this to work! The lowest string corresponds to MIDI channel 6, while the highest string corresponds to MIDI channel 1..
Hopefully your Fishman TriplePlay Connect MIDI controller can be set to output MIDI notes on specific MIDI channels based on the string on your guitar? If not that could be dealt with in software (within Logic for example).
