There is an extension that exports cookies to the old text file format. That might allow you to delete out the ones your don't want using a text editor. I think you would need the extension again to import your (edited) file back into Firefox.
I use the FEBE add-on to back-up most "stuff" (bookmarks, themes, add-ons, cookies etc.) on Firefox.... I've found it useful when I've needed to restore Firefox....Take a look and see if it's something you like............
It may also be of interest that the Cookie Wizard with Whitelist extension allows the export of cookies, either for all sites, or for selected sites. This saves having to do so much work with a text editor. The extension uses the standard format, and so the exported files can be imported, either using this extension, or using many other cookie import extensions.See -wizard-with-whitelist/
I am currently making the switch to Brave browser, however I am having issues exporting my data from Firefox. I really need all of the items to be transferred such as cookies, history, and bookmarks etc.
I currently see no option to import from Firefox so I need to work out a way to manually transfer cookies, history, and bookmarks to Brave. From what I have gathered Firefox uses sqlite to store cookie data and I have looked into much else at this time.
Nope, I still have it on my HDD never gotten around to switching it to my SSD. I am glad that it is doable, because it was the only thing I could think of left. I still have it, on my system using Brave and Firefox at the same time trying because Firefox has all my data haha
I am using TB as feed client, I want to ask, is there a way to import cookies or logins from Firefox to Thunderbird? so that when reading an article that needs login, it can actually read such article?
I installed it in both FF and TB (by downloading it and then dragging it to the extensions open tab); I selected the specific cookies I needed, exported / imported them and voila, TB is logged into the websites I needed.
