Hey new to this form and hopefully this reaches the right person who knows what they are doing i have a custom animation that i want to get on my cronus zen which is an OLED 128 64 SCREEN
Just a little backround what a cronus zen does is it digitally modifies your controller by loading .gpc scripts was wondering if it was even possible to get custom animated screens and i would pay someone who can get my custom animation on it thanks

XBOX and PlayStation are being over run with cronus-zens. Why hasn't anything been done to stop it from ruining everyone's game yet? On top of the usual game issues such as, Getting shot through doors and walls. Players playing on 250ping to gain and advantage and the usual game update and then 10 bugs and game crashing problems. The cronus-zen has become the one thing I hate the most about the game, Players are abusing Scripts and if the game is barely playable as it is and most players I know have quit playing, Then the scripts are going to keep getting better and better and apex is going to fall off and cheaters an Boosters will own Apex Legends in no time. I love playing Apex I have 3 heirlooms but why would I continue to play a game that doesn't care about a player like me and my opinion on whats most important to start to change the game for the better of everyone. Ranked right now in the UK on London Servers, Is completely unplayable and sure they changed map, The first thing I heard is that Preds and bronze are fighting each other. So that was it for me. I am officially quitting playing apex until you get a solid anti cheat for console players. Or fix the issues with being shot through solid objects or high ping abusing players. Good bye and thanks for the memories...I guess.

An Unauthorized Third-Party Program is a third-party program or file (such as a "add-on", "mod", "hack", "trainer", or "cheat") that EA believes (i) enables or facilitates cheating of any type; (ii) allows users to modify or hack the game interface, environment, and/or experience in any way not expressly authorized by EA; or (iii) intercepts, "mines", or otherwise collects information from or through the game.

Until EA changes the wording in the ToS they are "Technically" not banned as they are Hardware not software based, but I agree they do violate the nature of it, but when it comes down to splitting hairs EA chose its wording poorly and went with the very specific term of "software" not Hardware or Devices.

@Fr0d0T34B4gg1n5As @Asmodeus566 said even if these products are hardware that you have to physically install, it has a software that runs the cheats that people use and thats a 3rd party software.

I see a lot of misunderstanding in people's posts regarding this, thinking that couse its not a PC/Console program its not software based. Every piece of hardware that you connect to a game device needs its own software to run.

@Asmodeus566 @DeepBeats So my point is that with the broad terms EA has used, things like 3rd party voice chat could be considered a cheat program being that you can gain an unfair advantage over players by being in a voice chat and someone spectating/statpadding/cheating. IE there is legitimate use like there is with the Cronus and Titan for controllers on consoles and there is nefarious use which most of the consoles running this are doing. However the rules don't make a distinction other than to say it is at the whim of what EA Believes not even what they can prove. So according to what I am hearing from you all is that if there is a possible nefarious use it's banned because its a 3rd party software. So when are people going to start getting banned for using Discord and Team-speak over the EA approved and provided in-game voice chat?

I do understand that for any hardware to work it needs software to send it commands. My point to this is that just like Discord can be run on a separate device such as your cell phone, does this now mean EA has permission to ban me or scan my cell phone? No, they prolly don't even know when someone is cheating/statpadding whatever that way. So too is the Titan and Cronus the software they use cant be scanned by EA cause they only have permission to check for Software running not Hardware devices on our systems and EA only checks to see if you are running cheat programs such as dll hookers/modded files. These devices are entirely separate and run no program except what is internal to their Hardware. My whole point to this is EA has to scan for a HARDWARE ID not software to ban these devices and the Terms of Service only covers 3rd party software not hardware.

Tonight I tried to open a project last saved as a CWP about a year ago . . . it will no longer open properly. Opening the project in safe mode (holding down shift key) eventually exposed the offending plugin as "Cronus" aka V Vocal. Bypassing this plugin lets the project open. This older project apparently still has some remnants of very old Cakewalk within it. So, is V Vocal no longer supported in the newer Cakewalk by Bandlab ? I only offer this as a warning for those opening older projects that have V Vocal plugin loaded.

I hadn't used V-Vocal in quite some time and discovered I didn't even have it installed. To make sure that what I'd said above was accurate I decide to re-install V-Vocal and test out the instructions generally given to people.

I selected the Advanced SONAR X2 installation and deselected all but the Program files and let the installer do its thing. On opening CbB and I was able to immediately use V-Vocal and edit audio with it as expected. Surprised I didn't need to reinstall Cakewalk over the top, as I had expected the X2 installation to have overwritten an existing CbB dependent file, so it "seems" all is OK at this stage. V-Vocal certainly works in the latest version of CbB.

Hi Mike, I go back to all earlier Sonar versions, installed originally from the Sonar 8.5 CD, updated to Sonar X1 and X2 . . . V Vocal worked a year ago when I last worked on the project, today, not so much . . . I know sometimes old things don't work well with new things, but don't recall anything official from Cakewalk about V Vocal no longer working . . . and yes, I just tested if I start a new instance of V Vocal, it seems to work in my latest Cakewalk by BandLab . . . perhaps it doesn't like my fragmented clips, mixed with other plugs ? I'm attempting a rebuild of the project.

Just now as a test, I successfully opened the project in question on my newer laptop build . . . and only got a warning about 5 instances of "Cronus" that could not be found, but it opened with no other issues.

There's nothing inherently wrong with having multiple older versions of SONAR installed, so long as the latest version is the last one installed (as there's some shared components and obviously you don't want those overwritten with older versions). We haven't shipped V-Vocal in a long time as that was a Roland product, but assuming it's still stable on your system, we haven't done anything in Cakewalk that would break compatibility. If it's crashing while you're trying to port a project, you might have more success if you try rendering V-Vocal via a 32-bit install of SONAR.
