There's still a memory leak happening when I run the Dashlane plugin in Firefox. This was supposedly fixed ages ago, but it is still happening. Both are updated, (Dashlane 6.2341.0 , Firefox 118.0.2) and by disabling Dashlane and restarting Firefox, the issue is resolved until the next time I need to use Dashlane again, at which point I reenable it and the memory begins to climb again. This does not prevent me from using the app at all, but it is extremely disruptive. If anyone has a solution for this, please let me know.

OK it's been months with this problem and all the devs at ccleaner, microsoft and dashlane are saying is the broken solutions "open control panel..." "...or delete browser extension..." Think this is malware, I didn't ask for it. It's installed itself, It's not showing up in programs or extensions tab and there's litteraly no way to remove dashlane from ccbroswer it seems. There's literally no way to get rid of this malware and the devs keep sending us round in the same circle. jerk I'm going to switch to Firefox today. As clearly your running malware now.

Their is no easy way to sync Google Smart Lock with Apple KeyChain, apparently you can download an older version of firefox and export your Google passwords to a .csv then import them into keychain. (Which is not practical if my passwords are updating all the time).

What we could also prove is that no matter what browser you use and log into your dashlane extension with the same account, passkeys are synced across devices and platforms and can be used for login with no troubles.

Upon registration of our passkey at WebAuthn.io, we noted that passkeys were not visible in Dashlane's browser plugin or website interface. Despite its practical function for login, the passkey remains unseen to users in the password manager. This introduces an interesting layer of opacity - users can't see or manage their passkeys. If they're unaware of their existence or can't access them, questions about security mechanisms and user control arise. However, it's worth considering that managing passkeys is being implemented as we speak. While we are currently in a testing phase, a final release is planned as of August 2023.

Following our exploration with Chrome, we decided to undertake a similar procedure with Firefox, emphasizing Dashlane and WebAuthn.io. The newly created passkey, "passkey_firefox_test", was registered at WebAuthn.io, replicating our prior steps.

On confirming the storage of the passkey on Dashlane, we received a success message from WebAuthn.io. Our "passkey_firefox_test" was ready for action, marking the successful conclusion of the passkey registration process.

I'm considering moving from LastPass to 1Password. I installed the Firefox plugin and had a quick test with some of the my common sites. It looks like you still don't support filling passwords to HTTP authentication-style popup dialogs. And as the dialog is modal I can't pop up the 1P GUI with Ctrl-Alt-\

Start with Dashlane Free and get used to the interface, features and how easy is to login to your sites, banks, healthcare insurance, personal or car insurance, shopping sites like ebay, amazon, etc. Once you go to the site and login, Dashlane will record that for you. After, you can auto-login or wait to login by 1 click. You could even have access to sites you don't know the password by a secure Auto-generated by Dashlane. Dashlane Free or Premium (that's your choice) Warning, not all websites will work 100% some have nuances like a Pin after username and password (just open the Dashlane app and see in notes what PIN to use, however DO NOT SAVE as new Password, just a warning), multiple users on one computer, not a problem, you can choose who you want to login as Wife or Husband credentials (not recommended for business shared equipment). Always have Dashlane on your phone, you may not have your laptop with you, however your phone will have a sync copy. Browsers IE, Firefox and Chrome supported, just make sure the plugin is enabled, new versions/upgrades of Dashlane may force you to manually enable the plugin for IE with the browser closed.
