A welcome to everyone.

Back in 1995, when I was first getting exposed to the wonders of the
internet, I was part of a mailing community called the Ranma 1/2
Mailing List. Over the many years, the fandom has diversified and
diluted as other series crossed the shores from Nippon to the
Americas.

With the options presented nowadays for the Ranma fandom being
primarily Fanfiction.net or spotty, ill updated websites with broken
links or missing images, it seems to be that particularly the Ranma
1/2 fandom has fallen into disarray.

Thusly, I start this google group. Google groups are, by nature,
something similar to the old USENET groups from the 80's and 90's.
However, there is an integration with other elements of the Google
Library that effectively makes their GROUPS something similar to a
greek forum for communities. A place where everyone can come to
share, trade, discuss, and discover.

So with that in mind, I wish to welcome those who are fans, fan-
artists, and fan-authors of the Ranma 1/2 series.
