What's "The Dance Magic Network?"
It's a password-protected section of our web site designed especially for our Dance Magic Families and Staff. We have separate pages for Parents and Dancers, Dance Team, Teachers, Receptionists and Staff, and Special Groups. These pages have links to our newsletters, and even videos. We'll let you know our progress as we go! Yeah, technology!
1. Click on the link below that is your membership group. (Dancers in multiple classes may
have more than one.)
2. Click on the "Create Account" link.
3. Your account name is your first name, a period, and your last name.
Capitalize the first letter of each name. An example is Debbie.Westphal
4. Enter your own email address and your own password. Remember these!
5 If a parent is joining, enter your dancer's first and last name on the form you fill out.
6. You will be approved within a few days!
If you do not follow the above format, your request will be delayed.
Absolutely! Parents can purchase a general observer band prior to the event through their studio to watch classes. Observer bands are for parents or non-dancers ONLY attending with a registered student. Our general observer bands will allow access into our Senior Room, Teen Room, Junior Room & Magic Mini Room during classes however, observers are not allowed in our Teacher Room or during scholarship auditions. General observer bands will also be on sale at our event and can be purchased by visiting the LADM Booth. However we do suggest purchasing these bands prior to the event to guarantee your spot, bands sold at the event are subject to selling out and cannot be guaranteed. Dancers registered in our Magic Mini room will receive ONE FREE MAGIC MINI OBSERVER BAND. This observer band will only allow access into our Magic Mini room, parents are able to upgrade this band to a general observer band by visiting our LADM Booth. Competition is open and does not require the purchase of any bands or tickets. So please, invite your family and friends to join us and enjoy our competition. Not able to join us for classes or competition, join us for the LADM Faculty Show! This is open and does not require a band to observe. Join us for Faculty performances, showcase finalists, scholarships, awards and more!
In order for a dancer to compete a solo in our regular competition dancers must be registered in group routine. Group routines include: Small Groups, Lines, Extended Lines & Productions. Dancers not registered in a group routine that still wish to perform a solo may register a solo for exhibition only. Exhibition routines will still perform during competition and will receive a video critique from our judges. However, these routines will not receive a score and will not be announced at awards.

Congratulations! Please be sure to read and follow ALL instructions printed on the back of your scholarship. Scholarships are attached to the registration account that your dancer was registered through. If a dancer won a scholarship with their studio but would like to attend as an independent or vice versa you will need to call our LADM office to transfer this scholarship. I come from a dance teaching background, and grew up in the competitive dance world! I earned my BFA in Dance in 2012 and was able to follow out my dream of traveling the USA, judging dance competitions. I bring many perspectives of the dance world into my business!

I'm always excited to welcome a new member to my shop and registering is simple. All you need to do is fill out the form and you will be sent the password for the products, once your identity has been verified. We ask that only studio owners, teachers, competition owners, pagent directors, group leaders and coaches apply for the password.
Have you ever registered for a Parktakes class or had a membership? You may already be in the system! To see if you already have an account with us, select the Log In button in the top right of the website. Follow the on-screen link to Recover Your Account. Then, simply enter your email address in the field. If your email was on file, you will receive a message stating your password has been reset. An email will be sent to you with your randomly generated password.

REVEL is one of only three events Certified by Youth Protection Association For Dance (YPAD). This means that our team has undergone significant training in the areas of Safety & Wellness for young dancers, and are responsible for upholding the standards set forth by YPAD. These standards include, but are not limited to background checks for all Faculty & Staff, staff being certified in CPR and First Aid, and ensuring policies and procedures uphold REVEL's inclusive, equitable, and family-friendly environment. While attending REVEL, studios should expect convention classes with age-appropriate music and movement choices. REVEL expects the same from attending studios in terms of performances on the competition stage. We believe that as a community everyone can work together to create positive progress in the competitive dance industry. Sugar Skull! A Día de Muertos Musical Adventure is a touring bilingual/bicultural musical for young audiences and families that uses traditional regional music and dance from Mexico to tell the story of twelve-year-old Vita Flores. Vita thinks her family has gone loco planning a celebration for deceased loved ones. Why throw a party for the dead? But when a spirited candy skeleton suddenly springs to life, Vita finds herself on a magical, musical journey to unravel the true meaning of Día de Muertos.
