Just to let you know:
- A new version of RankLib (v2.1) is now available at:
It includes two new learning to rank algorithms (ListNet and Random Forests). In terms of effectiveness, I find that they are *NOT NECESSARILY* better than previous algorithms. So they might or might not be helpful to you.
- RankLib is now released under the BSD license (it doesn't have a formal license before), which should be very friendly to everyone. Briefly speaking, you're free to use it for any purpose (research, commercial, etc), and you can redistribute it too, as long as you also redistribute the original license file with it. Details here:
