Hey guys,

We are trying to get a collection of Rang De Moments to feature on our blog. Check Mandar's entry http://lightupindia.rangde.org/

I was wondering if any of you can help by sending us your Rang De Moments? In 100 words if you can write what was that deciding moment that made you believe in Rang De and send in your best pic.

Thanks for your help.

I came to know about Rang De in 2009 through mailer.

Being social investor on Kiva I was aware about microfinance but I was not very active there as they were not lending to Indian borrowers. Hence when I read about Rang De I made my first social investment of Rs 1000/- on the same day when I received the mailer.  Today after more than 3+ years my social investments has grown literally 100 times and now crossed Rs 100000/- mark. I am very satisfied with the great work Rang De is doing. Needless to say I will continue to support Rang De and also invite more and more people to join this cause.

I consider myself very fortunate to be a part of initial members of Mumbai chapter in 2009. And i thank Mitesh for introducing me to Rang De.
I was very surprised to know how just hundred rupees could help a life! And the initial field trip at Nagpur, the confidence of ladies and the urge for self sustained life made me very confident in Rang De.
What attracted me the most towards Rang De was the transparency and close check on how the borrowed money is being utilized!
This is the platform that tries to remove poverty from grassroot level and gives people to lead better life.
Lets strive to make more people self reliant and bring a smile.
