Update from Rang De Team in Chennai

Hi All,

A quick update on what the team in Chennai has been upto. We will communicate this every month so that all the chapter members have an idea of where the organisation is heading and there may be opportunities of interest to everyone.

Operations: Exploring new partnerships in Orissa, Jharkhand, Manipur, West Bengal. In the next couple of months we will hopefully have more people from these areas to support.

Evaluations: Field Trips for the next three months are being scheduled on Meetup. Please sign up to get updates. meetup.com/RangDeFieldTrips.

Campaigns & Awareness: Will be launching the Freedom Campaign soon. This will encourage people to participate and understand microcredit better. Will send an email as soon as the campaign is live.

Technology: Integration with a new payment gateway is being tested. This will allow for more payment options and will open up payment options for NRIs as well. You will receive an email as soon as this is live.

Volunteering opportunities: Apart from being part of the chapter, you can also help by volunteering for content editing, audio evaluations, helping us with making short teasers about social investing for you tube etc etc. Do get in touch if you are exploring such options.
