Kolkata Chapter update

Hi !

We had a meeting today at 11 and thank all of you who were there for making out time. Here is what was discussed and finalized as of now, subject to Smita's ratification.

1. Over the next one month, each of us will try to spread the rangde chapter news and ensure that there are 15 members at the next meet.

2. Amit is planning to co-ordinate with his organization's CSR wing, so that there can be a tie -up.

3. There was an idea to provide vocational training to people so that they can then be funded through rangde. I think we have to discuss this in details with smita, if that can work out.

4. The next meeting will be at 11 a.m. on 11th of July. Venue will be decided later.

5. In case there are some members who are not able to meet on a Sunday, some of us will try to meet as per convenience in between and take up the matter.

Looking forward to suggestions, queries and ideas.

Good stuff. I am putting up a column in the newsletter for volunteers. Another suggestion I had is newspaper inserts telling people about Rang De and that there is a meeting. Newspaper inserts are cheap and annoying. Even though annoying, there is a belief that people definitely look at the inserts. I will put it up on facebook too.

This will be very helpful. We have a ppt for our Corporate Connects program. Let me know if this will be of any help.

I think we can go ahead with the CSR ppt of rangde, if Smita can send it across to you. Also the vocational things can be discussed.

Please do send the CSR PPT across to Amit so that it can be further expounded.
