Santa Cruz 3CR 1000 km brevet

Greetings Randos,

The Santa Cruz Randonneurs' 3CR 1000k brevet is rapidly approaching at the end of the month. If you were thinking about doing an early summer event, this might be a good one to consider. The scenic route is point-to-point, with the start in Santa Cruz and the finish in San Luis Obispo. Along the way riders will cycle the magnificent Big Sur coastline and other parts of California’s Central Coast region. 

There are overnight bag drops for riders but otherwise no sag support. The route is hilly so riders will want to bring their A-Game. The overall climbing/distance ratio is similar to PBP and past 3CR finishers have done well at PBP the following year.

Entries are due on Wednesday, May 20 at 8 PM, and entrants must have completed a 400 km or longer brevet or permanent in 2026. More info can be found at:
