Just taking a moment to recommend Luggage Forward….
I’ve used Bike Flights many times in the past, but for domestic events, have decided to just pay more to have my bike fly with me, as not to have to deal with having to send the bike early and do with out for a few days, waiting for it to be delivered.
For International Events, it can get a bit more involved. Pam and I wanted to mail our Luggage and Bikes home, so we could travel Europe light and not deal with drop off, storage and pick up issues that did not fit into our plans. We weighed out the costs of transportation, storage, and airline fees, and opted for the upgrade of just having everything picked up at our France Hotel after PBP and delivered to our homes.
This is the 3rd time I’ve used Luggage Forward to move things to France or Back Home. I’ve found them to be substantially cheaper than Bike Flights and reputable.
Might be worth adding them to your resources list.
