Hi fellow ultra-cycling enthusiasts,
I am considering kidney donation and am curious to know if any other members have experience riding randonneuring length events either post-donation or with reduced kidney function. I am hopeful learn from others' experiences to better prepare questions for various doctors. If you have personal experience with this or have a close friend who might, I would be grateful for the opportunity to chat.
Since this is a somewhat sensitive medical topic I would appreciate if people would reply to me directly off-list rather than starting a group discussion. Feel free to email me at swar...@gmail.com
Thanks,
Noah

Whenever you bonk, you do a fair amount of damage to your kidneys. I do speak from personal experience.
