From the story--thanks for sharing it, Ken!

Recently, Tina was involved in an incident when a van driver tailgated her, revving and honking as she cycled with a woman she was teaching. “He could have overtaken when it was safe, but instead, he chose to intimidate us.” When he eventually passed, he pulled over, got out of his van, and stormed towards them to berate them for riding side by side.

If we are involved in cycling long enough we will encounter driver anger and intimidation.  Most recently I was waiting in a left-hand turn lane for the light to turn green and for the oncoming traffic to clear ..after making my turn I was cussed out by a male driver....per the usual, f-bomb, etc. It's rare for females to be intimidating,  but my friend and I were cussed out by a female driver while riding in a bike lane.
I can see why females in general have not taken to cycling at the same rate as males, (at least in the UK) when a legally riding, responsible cyclist (me) gets so much abuse.
