Golden Falcon, from its first edition, born under the cry of “Woman, Life, Freedom,” the Golden Falcon has never been a ride for recreation; it has been an act of defiance in motion. Now, in its 4th edition, “The People Prevail,” the event returns on the first day of Spring, when the Persian calendar turns and history reminds us that renewal is inevitable. The Golden Falcon draws its power from the first Persian Empire, where Cyrus the Great raised the falcon as a symbol of freedom for all women, men, every class, every belief, every minority, an idea centuries ahead of its time. Against this legacy stands the Islamic Republic of Iran, a regime defined by cruelty, systemic violence, and the deliberate destruction of its own people. Since killing of Mahsa Amini in 2022 and in recent weeks alone, over 12000 of young lives lost to state terror, this ride becomes a living refusal to accept evil as normal. This is not a cycling event about exploration or escape; it is an act of solidarity with those who have no shield, no voice, and no safety; who are killed in the hundreds while the world hesitates. Every dollar raised through this event will go directly to families who have lost their loved ones, to those left behind with grief, trauma, and no support; we are turning miles into aid, and endurance into care. In March 2026, every cyclist who rides carries a single truth forward on burning legs and open hearts: regimes fall, people endure, and in the end “the people prevail”.
Remember that:
You are not signing up for scenery.
You are not riding for medals, an award or applause.
You are riding on the first day of Spring when renewal has meaning; to honor lives stolen and voices silenced. You are riding for women, for youth, for minorities, and for families who wake up every day carrying loss without justice or support. The Golden Falcon carries the legacy of Cyrus the Great, where freedom was once law, not crime.
