Hello All!

I can't seem to get a definitive answer from anyone at MEC about
their commuter bike, the 'Chance' being able to accept/accommodate
big, well covering fenders, a rear rack, and, a BOB 'Yak' cargo
trailer. They just say 'it should work'.

I know I'll need to buy the special 3/8 BOB Nutz for the solid rear
axle of this bicycle, for this setup to possibly work.

In other words, does the unusual rear end of this particular bicycle,
prevent using fenders, a rack, and, this trailer?

Has anyone who has a bike with this odd frame, been able to achieve this setup?

I don't doubt that this bike can accommodate fenders and rear rack,
but, will the unusual dropout configuration of this bike and
especially the odd attachment points for the rear fender and rear
rack interfere with the BOB 'Yak' trailer?

So far, I know the bike can accept this trailer.

The only other model of MEC bike that I know of, that uses this odd
frame, is the 'Hold Steady'. Perhaps there were/are others models
using this unusual frame? If so, are you able to achieve this setup?

Cheers,

Bill
