This showed up on my local club email.  It's got a lot of basic bike maintenance tutorials and (for me anyway!) a couple "not" so basic.  Thought I'd pass it along.

Here is a great web site with up close videos and good instruction on how to work on your bike. http://bicycletutor .com/ Check it out if you want to get more confident in working on & adjusting your own bike.

That looks like a great resource. I've also often used the repair
help page on the Park Tools website,

http://www.parktool.com/repair/

which displays a bicycle that you can click on to select the area in
which you need repair help. Though for some reason, they always think
that you need Park Tool number XXYYZZ to do the repair :-)

Both great suggestions - I was aware of neither. I have immediatedly
posted them on the site of the Dutch Cycle Touring Club.
The best Dutch site is http://www.m-gineering.nl/techdexg.htm, with a
lot of information specific to loaded touring (and some of it in
English).
