Hello my rando community,

I have a friend who is heading to Chicago for a long weekend & would love to get a ride in. She’s from Sacramento & she is not a Randonneuse, but she lives to ride, is a conscientious borrower. Careful.

Does anyone in Chicago have a bike to lend Dahlia? If so, I’ll put you two in touch.

Dahlia is a 20+ mile rider. She does not wear clipless pedals (tennis shoes on flat pedals). Casual, but energetic to get a good ride in when in Chi-town.

If there’s not a bike to borrow - are there any great shops who she could rent a bike from?

LMK my friends! She’ll be a good steward!

Speaking of borrowing bikes in Chicago - my brother Ben (from DCR) will be there 10/21-11/4 to take care of me while I recover from surgery.

He's looking to borrow a bike while he's in town so that he can ride a few permanents while he's there. He's 6', and I'm sure will be a conscientious bike borrower.

Feel free to shoot him an email (cc'd) if you have one to lend, or want to ride with him while he's around.
