Hello,
First off, I would like to say how great this list is. Now, I am looking at my current lighting system in regards to the upcoming Brevet series here in Colorado. I currently run 2 multi mode Cateye tail lights and two Serfas multi mode LED lights for the front. I like the Serfas, but I am considering a midrange generator hub to supplement these. I am doing either BMB or the 1000K + 200K at Boston this year, so I am anticipating some wet weather. I have looked over Peter's lighting site, but now I am looking for first hand experience with all the different hubs, lights, etc.
Thanks and roide safe,

Devin,
I purchased a Schmidt hub from Peter about a month and a half ago. I got the Schmidt E6 lamp with it and so far I love it. I've been kicking myself for not going that route sooner. I've used it primarily on my commute to work but I've been leaving the hub on the bike for long weekend training rides. You do not notice any drag when the lights off and only a slight amount when on. The hub combined with the lamp weighs far less then a rechargeable lamp and probably in the range of battery lamps when you add in the weight of carrying extra batteries.
I'm using it with a Cateye EL500 mounted on the stem aimed further out so it gives a nice flood patter. The rear is all battery powered. I have a small Serfas light on my bag and 2 LED's in my handlebar ends. For the helmet I may put a light called a frog on the rear that shines red and I plan on helmet mounting the smaller EL400 Cateye for reading cue sheets and signs.
