I have copies of the 1993 and 1995 route slips from the Great California
Land Rush. I'd be glad to mail them if you supply your snail mail
address. But I don't think that the northern half is any good for an
unsupported ride: there are about 90 miles with no services down
highway 25 from Paicines until you come out near San Miguel. From there
to the south the route is pretty standard: Paso Robles, Atascadero,
Santa Margarita, over the hill on the freeway to San Luis Obispo, Price
Canyon, Arroyo Grande, Santa Maria, Los Alamos, Buellton, Gaviota, and
the regular route thru Santa Barbara, Ventura, Port Hueneme, and highway
1 into Santa Monica.
