Hi All. I'm liquidating my parts box, which, inexplicably, contains a
Supernova E3 headlight. Before it goes up on eBay, I figured I'd see
if anyone around here would be interested. The power lead is cut to
~45cm and the taillight lead is cut to ~15cm (and attached with
heat-shrink tubing to the power lead). It has the 'lefty' fork crown
mount. I bought it about a year ago, but switched my dynamo bike over
to a caliper brake, so there's no where for this to go anymore. It's
in pretty much new shape. I'm asking $150, but make me an offer.

Has anyone compared the original E3 with the new E3 Pro (symmetrical
version) side by side?

I like symmetrical beam lights and am very happy with the quality of
the E3.
Though I'm wondering if there is a significant improvement the light
output such that upgrading is worthwhile.

This site has pictures of the E3 symmetrical and E3 asymmetrical.

Is that second picture of the "Supernova E3 Symmetrical" near the
bottom of the page the new "Pro" or the original E3? I'm trying to
compare the original symmetrical E3 beam to the new "E3 Pro"
symmetrical beam, not the assymetric.
Anyone seen these in person?
