Paragon Z couplers

Does anyone have experience with the "Z" couplers from Paragon Machine works?  These have been available on Santana tandems for quite sometime but now are available for use on single frames.  Santana maintains exclusivity for tandem applications 

I'm interested in ride quality, ease of use and overall opinion.  They are available in stainless steel and titanium.  I'm considering using them on a titanium travel bike.
