Back on November 1st I asked for your opinions on threaded vs.
threadless and downtube vs. STI. I thought you might like to see the
result of your input. Thanks.

Some serious bike porn here.

"Let me tell you what I think of bicycling. I think it has done more to emancipate women than anything else in the world. It gives women a feeling of freedom and self-reliance. I stand and rejoice every time I see a woman ride by on a wheel...the picture of free, untrammeled womanhood."--Susan B. Anthony

Dear Paul,

You and IF have done a FABULOUS job with this new bike. They are
building a Club Racer for me right now. I was playing around with many
of the same variable as you, but pulled in a slightly different
direction to accomodate an ultra race set up when stripped down. I
love what you came up with. You really acheived a beautiful synthesis
of old and new. I'll post pix of mine once it arrives as well.

By the way, I notice from your profile that you're from NJ. I just
opened a new RUSA permenent in the Mid-Hudson Valley that I've called
the Catskill Climbfest that you may want to try out with this new rig.
It follows some of the same roads as the Englewood 600 from 2006 and
2007 if you are familiar with that route. Check out the RUSA site for
more details.

Cheers,

George Swain

Nice work Paul. Fill us in on its adventures.
My IF Club Racer, in Ti is here:
http://picasaweb.google.com/mike.beganyi/IndependentFabricationsTiClubRacer

I debated the cantis - some days I really wish I had them (usually
with dirt roads, rain, and mud) - other days I'm glad I went with the
long reach.
Per the STI/Ergo - I think mine will lose this should I ever bust or
wear out a component and I'll switch to bar-ends.

AnAtomica - I can't make up my mind - I keep rotating saddles - my
trusty Brooks Swallow, a B17, and the Anatomica. Each has plenty of
miles on them - with the Swallow getting the most - I just can't make
up my mind on it. Most days I feel like the Swallow is 'the one' - and
on a few days I like the 'suspension' of the AnAtomica.

Well done!

-Mike
