Hi I'd like to know if its possible to get drivers and installation cds/usb for my pavilion dv6000 laptop, i recently bought it a new HDD and am trying to revive it. originally it came with widows XP not sure if that is even available anymore. what are my options in this case?

El problema esta en que si el equipo fue diseado para otro sistema operativo, imagino que Windows Vista, no siempre hay disponibilidad de drivers para otros sistemas operativos, tendrias en este caso que buscar en la pagina de descargas del fabricante del dispositivo que presente problemas de drivers y mirar si existen esos drivers.
Selecciono el modelo, Sistema Operativo (W XP) y descargo el archivo exe para instalar el controlador, por ejemplo el archivo sp33411.exe del chipset, y al ejecutarlo si inicia la instalacin pero no la termina y en administracin de dispositivos siguen apareciendo los controladores con signo de interrogacin.

En la pantalla aparece el modelo Pavilion dv6000, pero en la etiqueta aparece como HP Pavilion dv6700, y no aparecen drivers de ste modelo, los que aparecen son del modelo dv6720la y dv6721la y slo para Windows Vista. Busco los controladores por el nmero de producto KC301UA y tampoco los encuentro.
