Hey RVG!

We had discussed a social gathering this Saturday to celebrate Kelly's graduation from TCU, and we have found a great option for runners and non-runners (and/or injured runners) alike: the Rahr Cinco de Mayo social run. Sign-in starts at 10:45 at the brewery, followed by a fun run/walk and beer! $10 to enter gets you into the race, a pint glass, beer tasting, tour of the brewery, and food. I will be headed over around 10:30-10:40 (parking is limited).

I have 3 Eagle Creek carry on luggage for sale, the two wheel models.  It is the 2011 model and never used .    Our daughter wants to sell these to raise money for her short term 
mission trip.  She also has several Eagle Creek Backpacks for sale for $50 each.  Eagle Creek products are guaranteed for life.  If something breaks, you just mail it back and they will either fix it or replace it. First weekend in October. we have a better chance of getting in if we have at least 5 in the group, so if anyone would like to join just please let me know ASAP. Sorry I can't join this wonderful group. Surgery today. Randy I broke my left humerus in a bike wreck Saturday. The Collin county classic. Biker was riding too fast and swerved into me. I was blind sided. Went down hard on my left shoulder. For some reason according to my friend riding slightly behind me and to my left. the guy  swerved about 6 inches into me and knocked me down.  Only hit my shoulder . Head didn 't hit. My friend breaker hard and flew over me and missed me. So blessed other bikers were a me to go around us. Could have been so much worse . Having a pins put in and possibly a plate if the can't slide the bone back into the socket. 6 -8 month recovery.

Sunrise is now at 7:14 am which means we're running in the dark for about an hour.  And with cooler weather approaching, let's move to 7:00 am start time starting the first Saturday in October.  

Even though we are going to move to daylight start in 2 weeks, everyone should be wearing a running light when running in the dark - safety first!  Please buy one TODAY!  If you have a running light, replace the batteries regularly.
