All,
You might want to invoke the 10 minute rule instead of the 5 minute rule this Saturday.
The following is from nbcdfw.com:
A portion of University Drive in Fort Worth will be closed from April 10 to April 13.
North- and southbound University Drive, located south of Interstate 30 between West Vickery Boulevard and the Union Pacific Railroad, will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday April 10, through 5 a.m. Monday, April 13.
North Texas Tollway Authority recommends the following detours:
Motorists who want to travel north on University Drive will turn right on West Rosedale Street, left on Forest Park Boulevard, left onto the westbound I-30 access ramp and merge onto westbound I-30. Drivers will then take the University Drive exit and turn left onto northbound University Drive.
Motorists who want to travel south on University Drive will turn right onto West Vickery Boulevard, left onto Rogers Road and make another left onto the Chisholm Trail Parkway eastbound frontage road and turn right onto southbound University Drive.
This closure is part of the Chisholm Trail Parkway project.
All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary.
Who's got your back?
Randy
