RVG run, 5th Saturday 3/29, 7 AM

All,

This Saturday we have our once in a blue moon 5th Saturday. Due to the Zoo Run being this Saturday AND the construction that NEVER ends (and only extends) on Colonial Parkway, I say we have the 5th Saturday from the Tom Thumb parking lot at Hulen & Bellaire. We can do either the old Ridglea Country Club route (which no one likes) or the one Gary came up with. I don't have the route that Gary came up with...so, Gary, can you forward the route to the group?? 7 AM start time.

I don't know if I'll be there this Sat...I imagine there will be a small group due to the Women Rock half marathon in Grand Prairie that some of you all are doing. Good luck to you all.

Here’s the alternate route as requested. Unfortunately I won’t be there this Saturday to join you. I’ll be helping out at the Women Rock Half along with Linda, Gwen, Yolanda and Jeannette who are all pacers. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Yes, 6 AM start starting this Saturday. I know I said starting in June, but it's daylight early and it's getting hot early...so, roll with the changes....

This Saturday we have our once in a blue moon 5th Saturday route. We will start from the Tom Thumb parking lot at Hulen & Bellaire at 6 AM.

Please bring a copy of the directions and please bring water on your run!

The post-run breakfast will be at the lovely Corner Bakery in the same parking lot. I would recommend parking near Hulen St to keep your car in the shade - and for an easier transition to Corner Bakery.

With all of the rain, it may be better to take Overton Park Dr W south of Bellaire rather than the dirt trail that runs along side Overton Park Dr. Could be a bit muddy.
