Hi!  Is anyone else having problems with beans sprouting?  The only ones that came up for me are the Ayocotes - none of the others did.  Very bummed.

Yes, all of them. I am very bummed too. I think they might be a little old but it is hard to tell with only one of each type.

Yes. I figured I would seed in pots first, due to the 1 seed given. A couple of the beans didn't look clean. One was Marcella and I figured they probably wouldn't be viable. Ayocote negro, Marcella, Garberville, and Rio zape did not sprout for me. Really bummed about the Marcella not sprouting. Oh well.

My other beans had near 100% germ rate...old Indian Woman, Blue Maro and Cranberry. We will see how the other four perform. Best to the rest of you bean growers. Here is a picture.

Well, my apartment complex tore out all of the community gardens without letting anyone know, so I've lost all my beans! Giant sad face.

Hello Dear Bean Buddies,

I apologize for all this inconvenience. We promise we will do better next year and send at least 5 seeds of each type. We are working on how to do a better job.

Best Regards,
Nancy
