I'd definitely be interested as I live in Napa. I also seem to do much the same thing when I cook my beans, I enjoy reading Steve's postings. It would be fun if 'buddies' bring pictures. The fall dates tend to look better for me, but some of the others could work.
Hope this happens!

This idea is a logical extension of the bean buddies trials we have been
doing.

I was realizing that I'd love to pass on some of the beans that have been
growing well for me, with quixotic logic and hope that it will also grow
well for others.

I'd certainly love getting some new beans to try as well.

I've realized I grow beans to eat/savor and for the joy of raising food we
eat. I also realize I am awe struct each season that they grow and
mesmerized with the variety of shapes and colors that rise of out of a
bunch of dirt. I truly understand Jack and the magic of his beans.

If this idea takes hold, then Steve will host it at the mother ship in
Napa. I'd love to pick his brain and others on preparing beans for I do not
have a lot of variance to the finished product. I'm sure others have
successful recipes to talk about as well.

Our open times are May 13 - May 25, May 29-July 22, July 31-Oct 9, Nov
15-Jan 15

Does this interest others?
