Hi folks,

I have a strange behavior after restarting a server with a ranger agent installed.
First of all my setup

1 host with rancher-os 0.3.1(installed to harddisk) and rancher/server installed with a volume attached for persistence of the data.
1 host with rancher-os 0.3.1(installed to harddisk) and the rancher-agent installed

I can connect the host with the agent installed to the server and everything is working fine, until I restart the host with the agent installed.
After restarting I look into the RancherUI interface and see two times the host with the agent installed, same IP??
I tried adding another host to the server and restarted this host and it`s the same behavior.

Everyone else experiencing this issue or am i doing something wrong?

Hi,

You are not the only one experiencing this issue as there was a bug in Rancher and there still is a bug in RancherOS. We have the fix for RancherOS but it hasn’t been made into a release yet.

Here’s the issue that details more specifically what was wrong. https://github.com/rancherio/rancher/issues/936

We are looking to release a new version of RancherOS in the next couple of weeks, and the fix will definitely be in it!

Denise
