We invite you to contribute your quality research in the book titled “Secure Communication in Internet of Things: Emerging Technologies, Challenges, and Mitigation” to be published by CRC Press-Taylor & Francis Group in 2023. Your quality research work would enrich its scholarly contents.
Scope of the Book :
The rapid development of IoT has resulted in a dramatic increase in connectivity. The amount of sensitive data traded on IoT networks has also increased and, especially those that reach large numbers of nodes embedded in surrounding regions. Despite many great benefits and capabilities empowered by IoT, applications, and devices face security, and privacy threats remain a major concern as new security issues emerge more and more day by day. Due to the unique characteristics of IoT networks, especially their low cost and power, bandwidth, and computational issues, new and more efficient methods are needed to protect them. IoT poses security and privacy challenges with ubiquitous connectivity and end-to-end performance, similar to or to a greater extent than traditional networks. Data security has raised widespread concerns and discussions among researchers.
The book “Secure Communication in Internet of Things: Emerging Technologies, Challenges, and Mitigation” explores the various security aspects of the Internet of Things (IoT). This book will introduce chapters that explore data protection and user privacy, and prevent various threats like MAC flooding, Service disruptions, sniffing, DoS attack, vulnerable ports and etc., at different stages with special emphasis on IoT devices, infrastructure, networks, and protocols. This book also analyzes the effective practical applications of IoT which integrates secure communication. At the outset, this book is aimed to cover state of art techniques along with the theoretical concepts and recent progress of the current research to provide good comprehensive ideas and references for the readers, students, scholars, teaching professionals, and developers in the field of advanced security in IoT.
