Dear All,

Call for Papers | Special Issue | Journal of Adult and Continuing Education (SAGE)

Special Issue: "Trauma-Informed and Inclusive Frameworks in Adult and Continuing Education: Pedagogies, Institutions, and Lifelong Learning Futures"

About the Issue:
Adult learners today navigate education amidst complex realities shaped by trauma, displacement, inequality, migration, digital transformation, caregiving responsibilities, and social change. This Special Issue seeks to advance interdisciplinary scholarship exploring how trauma-informed and inclusive approaches can transform adult and continuing education across higher education, community, workplace, and lifelong learning contexts.

We welcome empirical, theoretical, conceptual, review, and practice-based contributions from scholars and practitioners worldwide. We are particularly keen to receive submissions that foreground diverse perspectives and experiences from the Global South and other underrepresented contexts.
