Dear Sir/Ma'am,

The Department of Financial Services (DFS) is organizing the National Hackathon on Cyber Security 2026 . The event is being conducted in collaboration with the Indian Banks Association and Public Sector Banks, and will be hosted at MNNIT Allahabad, Prayagraj. 

This hackathon provides an exciting platform for students to innovate, collaborate, and develop impactful solutions addressing real-world challenges in the Banking, FinTech, and Cybersecurity sectors.

The hackathon aims to encourage students to develop innovative and practical technology-driven solutions, promote collaboration between academia and the banking industry, and create opportunities for entrepreneurship through commercially viable ideas. The event will be conducted in multiple phases including idea shortlisting, prototype/presentation submission, and final on-campus demonstrations before an expert jury comprising members from MNNIT, banks, and industry experts.

Participants will get the opportunity to work on cutting-edge problem statements, showcase their technical and problem-solving abilities, compete for prizes worth up to ₹11 Lakhs, and earn a chance to represent their innovation at the prestigious Global FinTech Fest (GFF 2026) in Mumbai.Teams consisting of 3–4 members from the same institute are invited to register and be a part of this exciting innovation challenge.
