I would like to share a Call for Papers for an upcoming Scientific Reports special collection titled “Biomimetic Prosthetics.” The collection focuses on cutting-edge research at the intersection of biomedical engineering, robotics, and human–machine interaction.

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

• Biomimetic and bio-inspired prosthetic design

• Myoelectric control and neural interfaces

• Soft robotics and smart materials

• Embedded sensing and wearable technologies

• Biomechanics, real-time feedback, and user-centred prosthetics
