Areas of Research:

  • Generative AI Training and Model Development focuses on foundation models for scientific domains and techniques for training, scaling, and customizing, such as distillation, multi-modality, and modularity.
  • Generative AI Alignment and Inference focuses on techniques for customizing, enhancing, and operating, such as explainability, reliability, and inference efficiency, as well as multi-model systems and retrieval augmented generation.
  • Robotics and Edge AI focuses on robotics, autonomous vehicles, 5G/6G, smart spaces, and federated learning.

Proposals should incorporate pretrained models from ai.nvidia.com and/or make extensive use of NVIDIA software distributions. Relevant examples include Isaac™, Nemotron, NeMo Framework™, and NVIDIA Cosmos™.

The call for proposals (CFPs) for each interest area includes eligibility information, compute resources available to request (including DGX Spark, RTX PRO 6000, Jetson AGX Orin, Jetson AGX Thor, DRIVE AGX Thor, and A100 GPU hours), and submission instructions, including a required
