Please note.


All India Hackathon “HackSecure 2026is being organised  from 10th to 11th February 2026 under Information Security Education Awareness (ISEA)  Phase III, Meity, Govt. of India, on theme  “Mobile Device and Application Security” at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Hamirpur. 


Prize Pool: Rs. 2,00,000 +

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to students, professionals, and cybersecurity enthusiasts.
  • Participants can register individually or in teams (2-4 members).
  • Participants must be 18 years or older (or provide parental consent if younger).
  • Multiple team registrations from the same organization/university are allowed.


Timeline:

  • Phase 1: Registration - Call for participation through the portal. Teams register and submit their ideas.
  • Phase 2: Evaluation - Single evaluation round to assess innovation, feasibility, and clarity of submitted ideas. Shortlisted teams announced on 5th March. (Online)
  • Phase 3: Hackathon & Prototype Development (Offline) - Shortlisted teams participate in the hackathon from 10th to 11th March and develop their working prototypes with available mentorship support. Problem statements listed on the website will be used only for shortlisting. Actual problem statements will be revealed during the Hackathon Opening Ceremony.
  • Phase 4: Final Presentation & Awards - Teams present their final working solutions before the judging panel at NIT Hamirpur. Winners are selected and awarded on 11th March.
