Hi all,
Tonight is the first and so far only public consultation on what is effectively a doubling of the number of allowed houses on a single residential lot, made possible by a supposed 'technical fix' to the definition of 'duplex' in the new Harmonized zoning by-law.
The meeting is from 6-8pm at the West Neighbourhood House, Dundas and Ossington. Councillor Layton and members of City Planning and Zoning will be there.
Attached is an overview of the present state-of-play of this under-the-radar intensification initiative.
Please try to make the meeting. Whatever your view of the matter, there needs to be public consultation about such a signifcant change.
