Newsletter of the RAMSES SNO.

1 - In April 2024, RAMSES moved from bitbucket to GitHub. We explain why this happened and tell you how to migrate your own fork of the code here: https://ramses.cnrs.fr/ramses-moves-to-github/. 

2 - We have set up a new RAMSES forum on GitHub. We encourage the community to use it instead of Slack to discuss code issues. Find out why and how to at this link: https://ramses.cnrs.fr/a-new-ramses-forum/.

3 - Following the RAMSES school for new users, a first batch of tutorials is available online. These take the user from the setup of initial conditions to the analysis of the simulation outputs, and cover a range of research topics. 4 - We have written out a git development model that will help us maintain a robust stable branch of the code while allowing developments on the dev branch. This document is a first brick to the documentation for developers, accessible here: https://ramses-organisation.readthedocs.io/en/dev/dev_docs/developer_guide.html.

5 - We have set up a database of submission scripts. Find more information about this here: https://github.com/ramses-organisation/ramses-job-scripts.

6 - The RAMSES User Meeting 2025 will be hosted in Strasbourg, from May 12 to 16. Find more information here: https://rum2025.sciencesconf.org/. 

7 - We held the annual SNO meeting in Paris (IAP) on Nov. 13 & 14. A few SNO presentations are available here: https://ramses.cnrs.fr/sno-annual-meeting-2024/.

8 - To early-career researchers seeking a permanent position in France, the CNAP competition will open shortly (deadline end of January).
