E-learning students in China decided the best strategy to avoid online learning was to shoot at the technology when they realized their distant learning app would be removed from the app store if its ratings fell to 1star, so as one student put it:

In 2014 they released sleepify, a dark collection of 10 songs each about 30 secs long. By dark, I mean it was silence and the band encouraged fans to play it on loop earning them royalties which they in turn repatriated to fans in the form of a free concert tour. Spotify caught on and closed the loop hole but not after about 20k in royalties were "earned".
