To All Family,

This is the first draft of the Ramos Genealogy Book and it is far from complete. Please feel free to send corrections, family stories and comments of any sort. Pictures also welcome.

I am going to put a section together for the Perez descendants from Rosa and Marcelina Ramos de Perez. Many of the some 17 children of Rosa and Marcelina had families of their own, Such as Maximino, wife Fefa and Maximino Jr. They are all cousins to me and deserve to be noted as the family that they are.

Rodriguezes are invited to send information as well. This wing of the family is under represented although two Rodriguez sisters married Ramos y Torres brothers. The good news is that I have re-united with a grandchild of Casto Ramos y Torres and Lolita Rodriguez y Ortiz (Laura Ramos) but other Ramos cousins and second cousins remain un-contacted. Any information regarding Ramoses or Rodriguezes would be greatly appreciated.

Eventually I would like to document the extended families of Rosario founder Vicente Ramos Colon and Maria Florencia Ramirez de Arellano. That would bring a much larger selection of San German County into the book and entail work with The Quinones (Jorge and Jacqie), Delancies and about a dozen other surnames. Ironically they married into the so ofetn over the centuries that we are all family many times over.

Thanks! Can you imagine the complexity of tracing descendants of Vicente Ramos Colon? He is one of many children of Geronimo RC but sort of a nexus for me as he founded Rosario.

And who really knows if he's a descendant of Columbus or his brother. Time will tell.

Yes, we are having the same dilema. Vicente Ramos Colon is the ancestor of my GG mother Rosa Ramos Rivas.

Im going to send you a link of the Mormon genealogy website that a cousin of mine sent me. Their genealogy website has all the death records form PR per town. Great resource to trace ancestors.
