What was the fix for this issue as I am experiencing the exact same issue. On a fresh install Lab environment I can assess Smartview from either the MgmIP/smartview and SmartEventIP/smartview. But on the real environment that was upgrade from R80.10 we can not access the smartview page via he SmartEventIP/smartview but have no problems accesses the WebUI.

The problem has been resolved by following the solution in this post -stuck-as-loading-smartview-in-R80-20/td-p/3... As instructed in the post, I replaced the httpd2-smartview.conf file, then performed a cpstop;cpstart, and upon accessing the SmartConsole again, everything returned to normal.

But I think it would "folllow" the port, no? I recall when I had my mgmt on port 4434, smart view would point to :4434/smartview and worked fine. The only reason I put it back to 443 was due to running mgmt_cli commands.

The problem is actually that when I try to open a new tab in Logs and Monitor to view the reports, SmartView keeps loading and opens the Gaia portal login page within the SmartConsole as shown in the image below:

Sorry, but I didn't quite understand what you meant. Are you saying that there is a redirection from the host where I have the SmartConsole installed? How is that possible if I access other managements and the problem doesn't occur?

That looks right, so its default 443 port. I did not quite understand either what @Amir_Senn meant, maybe he can clarify. Btw, did this ever work properly? Maybe try install latest jumbo, does not hurt, since its management, so reboot is not really an issue.

I meant that you can take a laptop, connect it directly to the server who is running as SmartEvent or to the switch it's connected to, try to reach the web SmartView app. If you succeed - it's redirecting by one of the GW.

I tried to reach smartview by browser, but it opens the Gaia Portal. It seems that smartview is not working properly, but I already tried to evstop;evstart, cpstop;cpstart, upgrade to the latest r81.10 take 94 and reboot. It doesn't work at all. The api status is running ok.

I have been creating a few smartview outputs using Quantus. I noticed that the DSPF file is only created when the simulation is run and netlisting happens. Not when the smartview is actually created.

N.B. Note the removal of the single quotes, commas (and extra spaces), and the path to the log file is wrapped in escaped (`) double quotes as the entire -ArgumentList content needs wrapping in double quotes, I have also put a space after the escaped double quotes (this is not required, but is there to show you two double quotes exist.
The advantage of escaped double quoting the log file path is the path can now contain spaces in it.

P.S. What is not clear from the Oracle guide is whether the /v is actually required if you are not specifying a different installation directory e.g. /v INSTALLDIR=C:\AltFolder", you may find the /v is not needed if you install to the default directory

i can even force the variables to the local scope by using double dots: . .\deploy-application.ps1 watch the script fail to install smart view, and then run the Execute-process command in the powershell window that now has all the variables expanded, and it works just fine

Alternative method would be extract Smartview.exe and use smartview.msi, however its bit extra work. We have to use office 32 bit installed machine separately and 64bit machine to extract corresponding msi files.

We are using Smartview to view the data from our cloud EPBCS, But it needs to be manually updated everyday. How can we automate this? can we schedule Smartview refreshes using python preferably?how can we best automate this?I can't find a library that can refresh SmartView automatically on python and win32com does not work. Thanks in advance

Hi have you found the solution for this?to note that the servername, connectionname when using a oracle smart view connection could be different from a normal ox_Oracle connection.I have tried with:connection = cx_Oracle.connect(username, password, connection_name) smart_view = excel.COMAddIns("Oracle Smart View for Office").Object and smartview_addin_name = "Oracle Smart View for Office

Silly question. are you testing while using is logged in?
have you tried a reboot before the application is installed.
There is also a registry fix that I cant recall right now for hyperion smartview (this is for excel right?) but what it shares a key with another system and prevents it from working correctly.

Yes, I am testing while logged in.
I do rebooted before and after the application is being pushed.
Yes, this is for excel.
When I tried it manually it is working fine but through BigFix it is not.
