The OFL allows the licensed fonts to be used, studied, modified and redistributed freely as long as they are not sold by themselves. The fonts, including any derivative works, can be bundled, embedded, redistributed and/or sold with any software provided that any reserved names are not used by derivative works. The fonts and derivatives, however, cannot be released under any other type of license. The requirement for fonts to remain under this license does not apply to any document created using the fonts or their derivatives.

3) No Modified Version of the Font Software may use the Reserved Font Name(s) unless explicit written permission is granted by the corresponding Copyright Holder. This restriction only applies to the primary font name as presented to the users.

5) The Font Software, modified or unmodified, in part or in whole, must be distributed entirely under this license, and must not be distributed under any other license. The requirement for fonts to remain under this license does not apply to any document created using the Font Software.

The license for this font is the SIL OFL license. This license does not allow us to redistribute derivative versions of the font without wholesale name changes inside and out of the font. Until we figure out a reasonable method of delivering these to you and complying with the license, you will have to use the Webfont Generator yourself on these, renaming the fonts appropriately.

Rubik is a sans serif font family coming with 5 weights, all open-source on Google Fonts. We especially love the combo of the bold style with the grotesque sans serif font named Karla. Rubik features stout proportions with low stroke contrast and slightly rounded corners. focusing on a very logical, constructed design. For copytext, we love pairing the font with Karla. A beautiful, more feminine typeface that perfectly balances the constructed feeling of Rubik in headlines with an imperfect touch within the copy.

This is a proposal among others (collected at BeDipp's user page) of how to integrate the OpenOffice.org Logo with different graphical elements or conference logos. The white space is reduced compared to the normal logo and the font in this proposal isn't the final.

The logo can be accompanied with additional text for conference, seasonal or project specific use. This font will be the default font to use together with the logo. It is important that the chosen font supports a wide range of languages and scripts (i.e. unicode font). This will benefit consistency among different projects and languages.

As the logo font itself is a proprietary one, an open font has been searched to allow combinations of the logo with accompagnying text. The font nearest to our ideals is M plus 1p with broad support of non-Latin areas in Unicode.

When it comes to web fonts, designers have many options to choose from. Google Fonts library has over 600 font families; however, many of those are unversatile and unsuitable for body copy. I have chosen the selected fonts based on quality, legibility, versatility, and number of available styles and weights.

Roboto was designed by Christian Robertson and is the official font family of the Android operating system. Roboto comes in 12 styles with weights ranging from thin to ultra-bold. The font is very modern and essentially combines the best aspects of classic fonts such as Helvetica, Arial, and Univers. Regular Roboto font feels slightly condensed so it allows more characters per line.

Designed by Paul D. Hunt, Source Sans Pro is the ultimate corporate-style sans-serif web font. It comes in a whopping 12 different styles with weights from extra-light all the way to ultra-bold. The font itself is not the most exciting one on this list, but it is probably the most professional. It works in pretty much every situation and it keeps legibility with every size.

Exo 2 is essentially the next version of the original Exo font. Very similar to the original, but it is a lot more legible at smaller sizes. So if you are planning on using the font in the body copy, Exo 2 is definitely a better solution. Exo 2 achieves the improved legibility by removing many of the fine intricacies which exist in the original Exo.

Nobile is another font that comes in only 2 weights and 4 styles, but it is in this list because it is a spectacular font. It was designed by Vernon Adams and has a pretty tall x-height so it reads incredibly well at small sizes.

Explore our font pairings and find out about best practices that you can apply to your designs. Get inspired to experiment with various combinations and discover pairings that work well for your projects.

Finding two complementary fonts that can be your go-to fonts for heading and body copy for branded designs can be tricky. When it comes to branding a strategically chosen pairing helps you with consistency and ensures visual hierarchy and readability.

Use font pairings to create a visual hierarchy where the heading is more prominent than the body copy. This way, headlines initially attract your audience and the complementary font style of the text leads them to read on.

Combine the big bold display font of Knewave with the straightforward Montserrat sans serif to create an eye-catching effect. Knewave attracts attention while Montserrat is suitable for the parts of your design that focus on conveying more information.

Paragraphs laid out in Lora stand out through the contradiction of brushed curves with driving serifs. Use this font style to create associations with a modern-day story or an art essay. Pair this with the boldness of Shrikhand and you get an attractive contrast suitable for a social media post.

To create a clear visual hierarchy with the typefaces of your choice, explore the differences when you change font weights and sizes. In this font pair, you can see a natural contrast between the heavy Anton style and the light Cabin font that adds personality to your design. Experiment with layers to see how you can create an even more striking and bold appearance.

Make use of the unique look of Cinzel Decorative to make your design pop. In combination with the serif style font Playfair Display for headlines, taglines, or slogans, you can achieve a modern look. Play around with the boldness of Cinzel Decorative to create contrast and see how that affects your design.

To create a visual hierarchy, decide which parts of your design are more important than others. Your choice of font should reflect your priorities first. Following that, you can experiment with font weights and sizes to play with emphasis and fine-tune your typeface design

A simple way to create contrast is to pair a font with itself in its different styles like bold, italic, or condensed. Try this by playing around with one font first to see if you even need a different complementary typeface for your design.

Pacifico is an airy script font that conveys a joyful spirit and works well in modern informal designs. Both the Cutive typeface and its sister family Cutive Mono are based on a classic typewriters style.

Experiment with colors that make the Pacifico font pop and adjust sizing to create an engaging effect and elevate your design. Combine this with Cutive Mono in toned-down colors or black to add character to your body text designs.

Explore how your design changes when you make one simple adjustment like changing the font size. Some styles are unintelligible when sized down too much while others look better when used for smaller text.
