config.ru Question

I've seen this line:

Ramaze.trait[:essentials].delete Ramaze::Adapter
 
in a couple of sample config.ru files including ...

http://blog.purepistos.net/index.php/2008/10/02/ramaze-phusion-passenger/
and
http://docs.heroku.com/rack

but it doesn't appear in the default that built by "ramaze create foo". Are there some contexts where I will/won't need it?

That was for Ramaze versions before 2009.03.
