Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
In the past month, Champions from across the country spoke up about two initiatives: New Muslim Care and the 1st Muslim Women's HelpLine through Women's Resource Centre, raising awareness about the importance of giving and giving locally to causes which affect Muslims in Canada. Brothers and sisters as far as Vancouver, Ottawa, Edmonton, and Toronto have been part of this program, completing weekly tasks and raising pledges. Alhamdulillah, by the Mercy of Allah, we were able to generate much needed pledges in order to support and sustain these programs.
SubhanAllah - It's been just days since Ramadan has ended and this campaign will finish in just 2 more weeks. This month we committed ourselves to helping those less fortunate then ourselves. Whether you are an NMC or WRC Champion, you sacrificed your time for the sake of Allah, inshaAllah. We hope that through your efforts hundreds of people will benefit. It is by the grace of Allah azza wa jal that we were able to complete our siyam, stand up for qiyam, and perform righteous deeds during this blessed month.
We would like to thank you for generously giving your money and especially time for the sake of Allah azza wa jal during the past month.
Taqabbala Allahu kulla a'malinas saleha wa siyamana fee shahri ramadanal mubarak. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'alaa accept our charity and increase us in Rizq (wealth) that is pure and of benefit. Let us continue and be steadfast on the same path of our beloved Prophet salAllahu alayhi wa sallam and righetous predecessors radi Allahu anhum, so that we can meet them in the afterlife, inshaAllah.
