Two nodes for production?

Hi All,

I'm very new to Rama and just exploring.  I'm a big advocate of CQRS and Event Sourcing and Rama seems very aligned with that.  It seems like it abstracts away all the infrastructure and lets developers focus on the command handling and views.

Very grateful for the free version as well. Being involved with early stage startups it's great to have a way to get started without needing a lot of funds.

I'm a bit confused those by the suggestion that two nodes could be good enough for a small production application.  For stability of Zookeeper aren't at least three nodes highly recommended. Is production deployment with two nodes really a viable option?

Thank again.

Cheers,
Ashley.

The node limit applies only to Supervisor nodes. Zookeeper and the Conductor node don't count towards that limit.

That's MOST EXCELLENT Nathan, thank you for explaining.
I'm keen to learn more about the model you have chosen for development (and probably learn the Clojure API).
It's a very impressive achievement, well done.
All the best for success with Rama!
Cheers, Ashley.

I hope you enjoy the learning process. There's also a #rama channel in the Clojurians Slack where I answer questions.
